How it Started
I’ve always loved words. As a student I did well in English, but never really delved into the writing world until I started blogging many years ago. From this inexperienced dabbling, sparked some real intention and drive to explore more fully the creative side of my natural questioning of life – and this is how my first manuscript was born. That’s us to the right. I embarked on some short courses to hone my writing skills and to, I guess, test the waters and see if I even had the skills to not only find the words, but to build a complete book from start to finish. From these couple of courses, it was apparent that I had a story to tell, and so with some gentle nudging from some of my biggest fans, I enrolled into a 6 month course to complete a full manuscript. And, I did it, albeit, it was a mere 50K of words long, I finished it and typed the words – THE END. Since then, I have redrafted, and am currently plugging through the third.

When I’m not writing, I wear a few different hats, but let’s start with wife, mother, daughter, sister and all the other labels in between and move across into my community world, where I am most at home standing beside an AFL football ground watching my beloved local team play. My main loves are baking and camping.
